      Project Manav Seva is an extensive program that focuses on holistically helping the needy and indigent population. Project Manav Seva has been carried out by the Bhagwan Shri Vishwanath Mahadev Seva Kendra, Sivanand Ashram, Ahmedabad for the last thirty years and continues to grow by leaps and bounds in the advancement of current programs which address the alleviation of human suffering. The ultimate goal of this program is to further spiritual growth for both those served and those providing service while simultaneously making a difference in people’s lives. 

      “Manav Seva,  Madhav Seva” has been the guiding principle for whoever has been associated and working at the ashram. The Holy Master Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj used to take the great pleasure in serving one and all and the tradition continues. is an extensive program that focuses on holistically helping the needy and indigent population.
       

      “Project READ” (Rural Educational Aid Distribution): Sivananda Ashram, Ahemdavad has taken up the Project READ for underprivileged & needy children of Rural area of Gujarat. It is an extensive program running for the past many years that focuses on providing educational aid to the under served Children in the form of distributing Slates, Black boards, chalk, Chalk Eraser pads to junior grade students (of 1st through 4th grade) and notebooks of 150 & 200 pages to higher grade students (of 5th through 12th grade).
       
      This year about 1, 25, 000 notebooks have been planned to be distributed free through various centers of Divya Jivan Sanskrutik Sang of Gujarat. Many thanks to the selfless workers at various centers who goes to schools and make it possible to reach to the needy children.

       Publication of Books through "Sivananda Jnana Yajana Nidhi". "Sivananda Jnana Yajna Nidhi"  is a special publishing division established by Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad to facilitate spiritual publications. Holy Master Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj has written a wealth of literature for the upliftment of mankind. The Sivananda Jnana Yajna Nidhi has been doing absolutely wonderful job to bring bulk of the literature in local Gujarati language. We are pleased that it was started with approval of Guru Maharaj Sri Swami Chidannadaji Maharaj and it has received His Blessings.

      "Divya Jivan" is a Spiritual monthly journal in Gujarati language from the Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad, that has been published regularly over the past fifty years and running. Apart from bringing out various articles of great spiritual imports from various saints of the present and past regardless of their affiliations to organizations, it has also served well to communicate with devotees all over. We request all the Gujarati speaking spiritual aspirants to subscribe to this magazine.  

      The continuation of such comprehensive programs has been possible only because of the unstinted devotion and generous donation provided by selfless devotees of the Lord like yourselves.

      We believe that offering that comes from within as an expression of gratitude, love and devotion does a lot of good to the devotee in his spiritual quest.

      Global Brahmin Parishad (Feb 4, 2019): The Chief of Global Brahmin Parishad, Mr Umesh Shukla and Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s office bearers from New Jersey (USA) graced the ashram during the month of February. A special meeting of Ahmedabad Brahmin Co-Coordinators was arranged at the ashram. All these special guests were invited at Sri Bhadrakali Temple of Bhadra, Ahmedabad.

      Bhimpura, Vadodara and Nadiad (Feb 5, 2019 - Feb 7, 2019): Sri Swamiji Maharaj graced the Samyam Saptah organized by Sri Sri Sri Maa Anandamayi Sangh at Bhimpura (Chandod) on the holy banks of river Narmada. On his way to Ahmedabad Pujya Sri Swamiji Maharaj accompanied H. H. Sri Swami Achyutanandaji Maharaj, President of Sri Sri Sri Maa Anandamayi Sangh,  visited Baroda and Nadiad. At Nadiad, they graced the famous Sri Santa Ram Mandir’s annual function and after paying their homage to holy Samadhi Shrine of Sri Santa Ram Maharaj they arrived at Sivananda Ashram Ahmedabad.

       On Feb 26, 2019 A free acupressure treatment and teaching camp was organized at Sivananda Ashram. About 993 patients were treated and 115 young people were taught and trained to render acupressure treatment during one day seva yajna. Respected Smt. And Sri Navneetbhai Shah and his team of Jai Bhagawan Trust, Mumbai conducted the entire  program. Rev. Sri Swami Adhyatnandaji Maharaj lit the camp and spoke, ”when you are touching the patients, feel you are touching the Cosmos. Feel that the divinity within you is being passed through your touch to the sick person and heal him.May your touch be healing touch. God bless you all.”

       Satsang & Tour of H. H. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj During the Month of February 2019

      Lucknow (Feb 1, 2019): Pujya Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj received an invitation from King George Medical University of Lucknow. A quick and short visit of Pujya Swamiji was full of programs. He addressed university students, professors, staff and also he addressed Lucknow medical association. He graced All India Psychiatrists Conference at the Indira Gandhi Pratisthan. He inaugurated Polyclinic( named in His honor) “ Swami Adhyatmananda Polyclinic” of Respected Dr. Renu (MD, DGO) and Dr. Anil Srivastava (MD Ph.D. Cardiologist) C. M. O. of  Lucknow Civil Hospital.

      Gandhinagar (Feb 2, 2019): It happened to be a birthday of Lady Governor Smt. Avinash Kohli. A blood donation camp was organized at Governor House, Gandhinagar. 853 volunteers donated their blood. Pujya Sri Swamiji Maharaj distributed certificates on behalf of Governor house. Swamiji with his Ashram’s devotee group greeted her and planted trees on this event.

      Ahmedabad (Feb 3, 2019):  As per the decision of Government of India now the Dena Bank and Vijaya Bank will be merging with Bank of Baroda. Rev. Sri Swamiji Maharaj addressed these groups of all India representatives of Vijaya bank and inspired them to work with the same spirit of loyalty towards their new job.

      In the evening Pujya Sri Swamiji Maharaj graced the function organized by Achala Education Foundation. He addressed a large gathering of Educationists, who came from all over Gujarat. The program was organized by Achala Education Foundation. H. E. Governor of Gujarat, Mr O. P. Kohli Ji  presided over the function. Respected Sri P. K. Laheri (Retd. I.A.S.) also spoke at this occasion. About 39 books on the education were released and 15 teachers, writers were honored and awarded with mementos and shawls.

      Unjha (North Gujarat):  (Feb 10, 2019):  Unjha Education Society has repeatedly given an invitation to Pujya  Sri Swamiji Maharaj. Sri Swamiji Maharaj has inspired countless people for the blood donation, after death for eye donation and donation of the body. Now, this institute has started bone marrow donation also. In the function felicitation, the families who have donated their near one's and all bone marrow donors were awarded. H. E. governor of Gujarat, Res. Sri O. P. Kohli ji presided over the function. As always, Sri Swamiji Maharaj delivered the inspiring speech. Tree plantation was done by Sri Swamiji Maharaj and Basil plant was freely distributed to all. Roundabout 1200 basil plants were distributed to everyone who attended this function.

      Being the holy Basant Panchami Rev. Sri Swamiji Maharaj paid his homage and worshipped Goddess Sri Umiya at Unjha and Sri Goddess Bhadrakali at Ahmedabad.

      Jhakhan, Limbdi (Feb 11, 2019): Today was the 89th Happy Birthday of H. H. Sri Rajarshi Muniji Founder President of Yoga University, Jhakhan. Pujya Sri Swamiji Maharaj graced the occasion at Jhakhan.

       Ahmedabad (Feb 13, 2019):  A Brief Satsang was organized at Shambhu ’s famous coffee house at their new venture of the 21st house at Riverfront, Ahmedabad. Pujya Sri Swamiji Maharaj inaugurated and blessed this new shop.  

      Valsad (Feb 14, 2019 - Feb 15, 2019): Rev. Sri Jitendra Shah of the Divine Life Society, Valsad was an ardent devotee of Revered Guru Maharaj Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj. On hearing the news of  his sudden death, Sri Swamiji Maharaj went and attended the condolence meeting and prayed for the everlasting peace of the departed soul. The bereaved family felt much solaced and thanked Pujya Swamiji for his holy presence.

      Ranip, Ahmedabad(Feb 17, 2019): Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj was invited for opening and inaugurating new residential facilities for Blind Girls education House. A new facility with 12 rooms, music class, hobby classrooms were thrown open by  Pujya Sri Swamiji Maharaj.

      Festival at Somnath (Feb 22, 2019 – Feb 25, 2019): A grand festival was organized at Sri Somnath temple, this entire function was planned as per the instructions of Res. Sri Narendra Modiji (Hon. Prime Minister of India), Ex. C. M. of Gujarat Mr. Keshubhai, Res. Sri L. K. Advaniji (M.P.), Sri Amit Shah (M.P., BJP) and many other saints, sages as well as scholars graced the occasion.

      Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj graced Sri Rama Katha of Rev. Sri Morari Bapu and opened the darshan of One Rudraksha’s High Shiv Lingam ( 34.25)

      Himmatnagar (Feb 27, 2019): On very humble invitation of Sri Dilip Gandhiji, President of the Mahila Arts College, Vishwa Mangal Education Group, Vidyanagar Himmatnagar. Rev. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj graced his 25th Silver Jubilee function Himmatnagar.
