Jnana Yajna ( June 12, 2011 -June 19, 2011) Pujya Swami Anaghanandaji Mataji from Chinmaya Mission (New Mumbai, Pawai) graced the Sivananda Ashram with her holy presence. During her stay for fortnight she conducted Jnana Yajna, sharing her thoughts on the text of Bhagvan Sri Ramana Maharshi, “UPADESH SAR”. She was accompanied by Bamhacharini Babita Mataji also. This Yajna was attended by large number of devotees.
On June 1, 2011, Wednesday 744th Yoga & meditation camp was concluded. On June 15, 2011 there was a special Satsang and night long Japa Yajna for Lunar eclipse. Regular activities at the Ashram, weekly satsang, Grain distributions etc went as usual.

Ahmedabad
On June 3, 2011 Central Bank of India at Ahmedabad celebrated their centenary celebration. It was 56th anniversary of local branch of Central Bank of India and it was 85th birth anniversary of Mr. Tarkeshwar Chakrabarty, a great union leader of the Central Bank. Pujya Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji was invited to preside over the function. A voluntary blood drive was organized and 206 donors donated the blood. Sri Swamiji said “of course now everything has been done by computer, yet the operation of the machine is done by man. Man behind the machine must keep his human values up to the mark. Because it is only human values and attitudes in public relation and administration which keeps banks business grow. So, keep on rolling your ball by keeping yourself more prompt, perfect, alert, sharp and courteous. Your kind and soft spoken attitude will pay you. You will flourish and shine”. Sri Swamiji prayed for very bright and prominent future for the bank.
On June 4 & June 5, 2011 Ladies club of Ahmedabad Medical Association celebrated their annual function “Ladycon”. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj lit the lamp, Dr. Nirmala Wadhwani president of AMA Lady wing, Dr. Darbar, President AMA and secretary Dr. Mehul and Mr. Kaushik Patel former minister for urban development, Gov’t of Gujarat and more were present. Sri Swamiji spoke on the subject of Common heath related problems & simple solution through Yoga. As always, Swamiji put emphasis on regular practice of Yogasana, Pranayam, Meditation, daily prayer and life in moderation for happy, healthy and peaceful living.
On June 6, 2011 Hindi Sahitya Parishad, Ahmedabad celebrated its silver jubilee at the central auditorium of H. L College Ahmedabad. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj was a guest of honour. Sri Swamiji said Thanks to Respected Dr. Ambashankar Nagar for his commitment and dedication towards the Hindi literature as well Hindi for Hindi speaking community. Sri Nagar has come from Rajasthan but after settling in Gujarat he kept the lamp of Hindi language (literature) burning in Gujarat by his zeal, keen ship, and devotion towards the language. Second half of the program was Mira dance ballet by Dr. Gopi Rao Mehta, Mumbai.
Gujarat Red Cross celebrated 50 years of Gujarat’s glory in blood donation. Highlighting the outstanding achievements of Ahmedabad and Gujarat in spearheading India’s Blood Donation movement and presentation of “Sherdil Hujarat” awards, for sterling contributions in pioneering Blood Donation bestowing pride and recognition to Gujarat! H. E. Dr. Smt Kamalaji, Governor of Gujarat presided and honorable Sri Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of Gujarat was the guest of honour on the occasion. A large number of Blood Donors from all over Gujarat were gathered at Tagore Hall to its full occupancy filled with spirit of service and generosity! Revered Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj in his saffron clad saint to receive the honour of centurion blood donor. Also Swamiji was recognized for being instrumental in organizing many Blood drive around Gujarat and also other part of India. Gujarat can take pride for having one hundrad and twenty five centurion blood donors to its credit, the highest amongst all Indian states. Centurion Blood Donors in Gujarat are from all sectors of the society, ranging from a retired chief justice of the high court, saint, an ordinary auto rickshaw driver to and physically handicapped worker. The data shows that there were 1,66,701 Blood Donation in Ahmedabad in a year, literally means one donation in every three minutes considering the fact that an average blood donation takes the same time of around three minutes, that comes out to be, no sooner one Amdavadi has donated, the next is in line ready to donate. Hence, Ahmedabad can thus boast of “Akhand Raktadaan” round the clock, all round the year.
Mumbai
On June 10, 2011 Sri Swamiji visited Mumbai for a day long programme. Swamiji was accompanied by Sri Dharmendra Soni. Swamiji had a meeting with trustees of Sri Prempuri Ashram, Mumbai, as well Trustees of Sri Narayani Seva Sansthan Lonavala, after having darshan to nearby Sri Swami Narayan Temple (Mahalakshmi), Swamiji had wonderful home Satsang at Sri Hemant Sanghviji’s holy abode. Famous film singer Sri Nitin Mukesh also joined the Satsang and made everyone happy by his melodious devotional singing.
Baroda
On June 27, 2011 Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji was invited to a special function organized at Rotary club Baroda. It was in recognition of a new team of Rotaract inner wheel and Rotary club Baroda. The function was organized in the grand auditorium of Rosary School on June 27, 201.1 Ms. Ayan Merchant, Mrs. Deval Shah, Mr. Haren Patel were named as President Rotaract, Inner wheel Club and Rotary main.
