Publications Newsletters News from Sivananda Ashram Divya Darshan of Lord Sri Jagganath, Sri Subhadraji & Sri Balramji During Ratha-Yatra at Sivananda Ashram Chariot Festival (Ratha Yatra) of the Lord Jagannatha at the Ashram ( June 24, 2009 ) The significance of Chariot Festival as per Vedic scriptures is that anyone who sees Lord Jagannatha or pulls His chariots earns an immense spiritual benefits. By His supreme potency, the Lord agrees to personally enter the form of Deity, just to accept the loving service of His devotees. In this sense the Deity is non-different from the Lord Himself. And once a year Lord Jagannatha comes forth in His entire magnificent splendor to enjoy the Ratha-yatra parade and show Himself to all. At our ashram, we had a graceful Ratha Yatra on June 24, 2009 . The Idols of Lord Sri Jagannatha, brother Balaramji & sister Subhadraji were adorned splendidly after ceremoniously worshipped by temple priest. Then the idols were mounted on the silver thrown in decorated chariot and brought out for the procession. It was a joyous occasion for all. Devotees were singing and dancing in the praise of the Lord. Devotees present on the occasion experienced the Divine Presence of the Lord. On this auspicious day “Sri Lakshmi Homam” was performed with 108 recitations of Sri Shuktam at Sri Sri Sri Ashta Lakshmi Bhavan. Regular Ashram Activities At Ashram regular Yoga classes in seven batches for beginners and advanced yoga students carried out this month as usual. About four hundred new people enrolled. Reiki Seminar There were two Reiky seminars were held under the leadership of Reiky Master Mrs. Rupa Majmundar. In the month of June for the Reiki Training seminar, thirty people in Level – I and thirty two people in Level -II thirty participated . In the last eleven years of Reiki Training at the ashram 2808 persons in Level I and 1162 in Level II course benefited, that is total of 4030 participants benefited. Sivananda Clinic at the Ashram – Dr. Snehal Amin’s consultation on how to cure diseases by yogic science continues and number of patients who got benefitted increasing day by day. Many devotees participated in regular religious worships at the Ashram namely Guru Paduka Pooja on Thursday, a special evening worship at Sri Ashtalaksmi Bhavan on Friday, Sri Sunderkand Path on Saturday, a special Satsang on Sunday and daily night satsangs. Also Sri Lalita Sahasranam at Sri Ashtalakshmi Bhavan and Sri Satyanarayan pooja on full Moon day were performed.On the holy occasion of Vat Savitri and Somvati Amavasya special Pujas and Abhishekatmak Laghurudras were offered by devotees. As always, on first Sunday Grain distributed to needy and on 3 rd of the month feeding to poor were done. Nutritious food was provided to children under Narayana seva project run by the Ashram. About 600 Kg grain was distributed to forty underprivileged families. Daily Satsang and pujas are performed regularly in the temples. On the holy occasion of Vat Savitri and Somvati Amavasya special Pujas and Abhishekatmak Laghurudras were offered by devotees. A meeting of Ashram’s executive samitee was held on the eve of Rev. Swamiji Maharaj’s “Divya Tour 2009” and it was decided that the executive samitee meeting twice/month on second and forth Sunday of every month. In the month of June, Samitee meetings were held on 2nd and 4th Sunday to plan the ashram activities and mission in general. Last meeting on fourth sunday, the members of executive samitee came along with their families and after the meeting all took Maha Prasad (Lunch) together in the ashram. Divya Tour 2009″ of H.H. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj Divya Tour 2009 – In Slide Show May 31, 2009 – July 2 , 2009 London (U.K.): Early morning on May 31Sri Swami Adhyatmananadji Maharaj arrived at Heathrow air port London. After attending and blessing the wedding couple Smt.& Sri Akhil Patel (son of Smt. Hema and Sri Jagdish Patel) at Spanish manor, Sri Swamiji arrived at Bristol. After spending three days at Bristol with Smt. Chandramaniben Taylor and Sri Dharmendraji’s family; Swamiji came to Sutton Surrey and stayed here for three days. At Surrey, Swamiji visited number of ailing devotees and also conducted satsang at the holy abode of many devotees. Satsang at Samanvay Parivar in the presence of Mahamandleshwar Sri Swami Satyamitranandaji Maharaj was a special treat for devotees and that was a culmination of one week stay at London, UK New Jersey ( June 7, 2009 – June 14, 2009) “I was pleased to be able to welcome Swami Adhyatmanandaji to Toms River once again and thank him for inspiring the participants of Yoga,” said Mayor Kelaher of the two-session seminar that drew out 100 able-bodied attendees. “All of the participants were so impressed not only by the Swami’s charming personality but his worldwide reputation.” “The Swami has planted more than 10 million trees worldwide and his acts are a wonderful example of how just one person with an open heart and mind can make a huge difference in this world,” – Dr. Nick Mehta . These are the feeling expressed by H. E Mayor Kelaher of Toms River New Jersey. Dr. Nikunj Mehta was the instrumental in organizing this program. On June 7, 2009 Rev. Sri Swamiji Maharaj arrived at Newark airport and was received by Smt. Tejal and Sri Amit Shah and Sri Suresh Patel (Yogacharya of Kerney Temple of NJ) From the airport Sri Swamiji Maharaj was driven to the meeting of board members of Vishva Hindu Parishad of America. After two hours long meeting about running of Hindu University of Orlando, Florida, Sri Swamiji addressed a large gathering of VHPA regarding, “How we can protect Hinduism and its implication in forthcoming generation”. there after Swamiji was received by Sri Mohit Thawani & spent a night with Thawani family, next morning Swamiji arrived at Toms River county at the Mansion of Smt. Hema and Respected Dr. Nikunj Mehta. Publications Newsletters News In Slide Show “Guru’s Grace alone is sufficient for getting knowledge of Brahman” – Swami Sivananda “If ever there is a desire to remember GOD or longing for godly act or yearning for Japa, Meditation and Satsang; know that it is due to GURUKRUPA ONLY” – Swami Sivananda Guru Purnima celebration ( July 7, 2009 ) On July 7, 2009 Guru Purnima (Ashadi Purnima) was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion at the Ashram. The satsang began with recitation of Sri Jai Ganesh prayers, Sivananda Panchkam , Guru Strotras. Gurudeav’s Paduka Pujan was performed. Shri Tapan Mankodi had compiled a Satsang -Kirtan of Sadgurudev Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj and Revered Gurumaharaj Sri Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj for this special occasion and all the devotees were thrilled to do Kirtan with Holy Master’s voice. On this occasion, Smt. Rupa Majmudar shared her thoughts of Guru Mahima. It reflected her Gurubhakti from the core of her heart for Gurudev Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj , Gurumaharaj Swami Chidananadaji Maharaj & Gurudev Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj. Even though Pujya Swamiji Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj was not present there as, Pujya Shree is on His Divya Tour to the west, Rupaben’s speech & words soaked with Gurubhakti brought a special spirit in already charged atmosphere and devotees experienced subtle presence of HIS. 46th Mahasamadhi day of Brahmaline Guru Bhagavan Srimat Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj was observed in the same manner on July16, 2009 with Paduka Pujan and Satsang. Sri Birendra Dasji has narrated Holy Master Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj’s Great Grand Father’s devotion to the Lord Shiva and HIS darshan in Lord Sri Balaji. The satsang was concluded with serving prasad (lunch) to all. Regular Ashram activities Daily Yogasana teachings to beginners and advanced yoga students, medical consultations, Yoga counseling, grocery distribution to the needy and poor senior citizens, healthy food distribution to under privileged children’s of city were carried this months also. Day long chanting of Mrityunjaya Mantra on Sunday, Paduka Pujan on Thursday and a daily satsang at night were the regular activities of the ashram during the month. In the month of July, 600 kg.of grains and wheat was distributed in forty needy families. As always third of the month nutritious food packages were distributed to underprivileged children of slum area. Nutritious food was provided to children under Narayana Seva. Ashram’s executive samitee meetings were held on 2nd and 4th Sunday to plan ashram activities. In the month of June, about 325 people participated daily in Yoga classes at the ashram.Morning Yoga classes are conducted by the experienced yoga teachers in the Ashram at 5.30am, 7.00am and 10.30am. Afternoon yoga classes at 4.00 pm and 6.00 pm. especially for women. Other than regular yoga classes every month, from 1st to 10th in the morning and from 15th to 25th in the evening, yoga classes run for the beginners. In Reiki Training this month, 21 and 14 participants took part in the first and second level respectively, Holy Month of Shravan started from July 23rd with great devotion and first Pooja being performed by executive members of the ashram. Everyday special Pooja, Abhishek and Abhishekatmak Laghurudra’s being performed at the Lord Sri Vishwanath Mahadev Mandir of the Ashram. with great devotion devotees performing Pooja, offerings of Sava Lakshya Bilvapatra Pooja and Sri Parthiveshwar Pooja. Publications Newsletters News In Slide Show Bhavya darshan of Sri Lalaji Maharaj on Sri Krishna Janmotsav Holy Shravana month celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion in the worship of Lord Shiva at Sri Vishvanath Mahadev temple here at the Ashram. During this month 216 Rudrabhishek and Special Pooja were performed. Devotees participated in Abhishekatmak Laghurudras performed at Holy Shrine on each Monday during the Shravan month. This year two devotees have performed Sri Parthiveshwar Pooja during whole month and totally more than 80 Poojas were performed. Savalkshya Bilva patras Archna (offering) Pujan was performed by ashram and four yajman during the month. Every Monday after evening Maha Aarati Devotees performed special Prahar Puja. On Janmashtami Day Shiva Temple and Lord Sri Mahadev was adorned in a special Shringar. On Amavasya Day “Baba Amarnath” Darshan has also been offered at the feet of Lord Vishwanath while performing Homatmak Laghurudra Yajna performed by twelve couple. Holy Maha Prasad (Bhandara) was served to more than thirteen hundred devotees. Sri Janmashtami celebration ( Aug 14, 2009 )On Janmashtami Day Sri Vishwanath Temple was decorated with forest view and also Lord Sri Lalaji ( Baby Krishna) was adorned in a beautiful Shringar. At Sri Krishna Prakatyotsava celebration Sangeet Vibhushan Pandit Shri Nirajchandra Parikh, Sangeet Ratna Ms. Himani Vyas, Smt. Ami Parikh and Pandit Martang Parikh presented Sri Krishna Rasamrut with devotional songs from 9.00pm to midnight at 12.00 am then Maha Aarati and prasad was distributed to the devotees. Sri Chidananda Smruti Vyakhyan – on 1st Punya Tithi of Sri Swami Chidananda Memorial Nine Lecture Series On the Holy occasion of First Punya Tithi Aradhana day of Worshipful Guru Bhagawan Sri Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj, Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad organized five day lecture series on Vedanta by highly learned Mahatma Saddarshanacharya Dr. Sri Swami Muktananda Puriji Maharaj ( of Sri Harkeshpuri Ashram, Todarpur, Alwar, Rajasthan). Dr Swamiji Maharaj’s discourses were organized from 14th August 2009 to 18th August 2009 everyday evening 6.30pm to 8.00pm. on “Vivekachudamani” and from 15th August 2009 to 18th August 2009 from 7.00am to 8.00am. on “Karma Yoga Rahasya-Gita”. A large number of devotees took benefit of this nine lecture series and took part in Sri Guru Paduka Pujan on Aug18th morning 8.30am.on first Ppunya Tithi of Gurudev. As per the demand of devotees during this series, ashram welcomes the suggestion and started “Vedant Vimarsh Varg” from Aug 28th on each Friday evening. Daily Yogasana classes, Reiki Teaching and Yogic treatment, Narayan Seva and Grain Distribution, daily night Satsang were the main activities of ashram carried out as usual during this month also. Executive Board Meetings on every second and fourth Sunday of the month met as usual and members took part actively and discussed the routine activities, special functions and other concerns related to ashram. Publications Newsletters News In Slide Show Month of September was full of activities at the Ashram. Yoga teaching is one of the vital activities at the ashram. It is possible only because of selfless services by many yoga instructors of the ashram. Reiki teaching, yogic treatment through Sivananda Clinic, Temple worships, daily evening Satsang Narayan Seva, and the distribution of Grains to needy each month are the regular activities of the Ashram. Executive board meeting on second and forth Sunday was held. Upcoming festivals and Ashram’s day to day activities were discussed. 122nd Birth Anniversary of Gurudev Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj ( Sept 8, 2009) Most Worshipful and Revered Guru Bhagwan H. H. Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaja’s 122th Birth Anniversary was celebrated by devotees with great devotion at the Ashram. A special satsang, prayers, Meditation, Paduka Poojan was performed in holy presence of H. H. Sri Swami Parmatmanandaji Maharaj of Aarsh Vidya Mandir, Rajkot. Sri Swamiji shared His thoughts in praise of Holy Master. Navaratri Celebration (Sept 19, 2009 – Sept 28, 2009) Navaratri is traditionally an auspicious time, a period of self introspection and purification. Each day commenced with early morning prayers & worship services at Sri Sri Sri Ashtalaxmi Bhavan, followed by group recitation of Bhagavad Gita (from 9.00am -11.30 am) and “Sri. Durga Saptashati parayan” in the afternoon (from 3.00pm -7.00pm). Durga Saptashati is Devi Mmahatmaya of seven hundred Mantras, considered very potent. It forms a part of the Markandeya Purana, one of the 18 important puranas of Hinduism. About two hundred and fifty devotees participated in afternoon satsang and group recitation, led by Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj. Sri Swamiji just returned back from his Divya Tour 2009 a day before on Sept 18,2009. On eighth day of Ashtami Havan and Kanya-Batuk Pujan was performed. They were offered gifts, fruits, Tifinbox etc. At nights Durga worship continued in the form of traditional garba and dandia-ras. Sri Jitendrabhai Patel, Sri Atulbhai Parikh (joint Secretary) and Sri Mukeshbhai Adhveryu were in charge of prasad distribution and over all arrangements of the night event. World Peace Day (Sept 23, 2009) On Sept 23, 2009 World peace day was celebrated in the Town and Peace Rally was organized by Khaira social group. Sri Swamiji and Sri Jagdishbhai Patel, a vice president of the ashram joined a peace walk with the group. It ended with meeting. Sri Swamiji addresses the crowd. On Sept 27 2009, Gujarat Khadyatel Vepari Mahamandal celebrated their 14th Annual day. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandji was invited to inaugurate the function. After lighting the lamp, Swamiji addressed the gathering. He brought importance of value based living and doing business (Vyapar) in honesty. He emphasized that honesty is the best policy, together with sincerity to the work will bring harmony and prosperity to all. On Sept 29, 2009 Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji along with three yoga teachers from the ashram went to Taiwan for 19th YTTC at Taiwan. It is organized by Republic of China Yoga Association. Publications Newsletters News In Slide Show Sivananda International Vedanta-Yoga Academy ( SIVA) – Yoga and meditation camps each month from 1st– 10th morning Yogasana classes for the beginners and for the advanced Yoga students have been organized. Also afternoon and evening yoga classes, specially for the benefits of ladies are a regular activity. It is possible for the kind seva of Dr. Snehal Amin, Smt. Surekhaben Sonar, Miss Sangeeta Thawani, Smt. Yojna Tandon and Smt. Janki Shah and many others. Through Vishvanath Mahadev Seva Kendra 3rd of each month free distribution of grains to needy Daridra Narayana families is being done. Through Sivananda Swathya Kendra free consultation and holistic way of treating health problems to sick and afflicted. It runs Monday- Wednesday-Friday (6.oo to 8.30 pm ). Dr. Snehal Amin and others devote their time for making it possible. Gita Jayanti celebration (Nov 28, 2009) A special satsang was held on holy Gita Jayanti at the ashram. A large number of devotees joined in recitation of Sri Bhagwad Gita Parayan. Sadhu Vaswani’s 130th Birthday falls on 25th November. To commemorate His birthday, November 25th is observed as International Meatless Day and Animal Rights Day. This campaign, started in the year 1986, has been steadily gathering momentum. Last year over 10 million people, from all over the world, sent their individual pledges, undertaking to abstain from all food of violence on November 25. Sadhu Vaswani Mission, Ahmedabad Center, organized a Run to stop all killing, “Meatless Day and Animal Rights Day”. With a great enthusiasm about 3000 people Young & Old, Men & Women joined in this event. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji lit the torch, gave a green flag and Swamiji himself ran with the crowd and brought a special fervor. Bochasan – His Holiness Sri Pramukh Swamiji Maharaj of BAP’S holy and happy 89th birthday was celebrated at Bochasan on Nov 25, 2009 by devotees in remembrance of sweet name of the Lord Sri Swami Narayan. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji greeted Revered Swami Bapa and offered his pranams and shawl, cushion etc. Sri Swamiji received Pujya Sri Pramukh Swamiji’s blessings and Sri Swami Bapa expressed his joy of Sri Swamiji’s presence. On Nov 26, 2009 Rotary club, Ahmedabad arranged a meeting in presence of Sri Swamiji Adhyatmanandaji. Swamiji spoke on the subject of “Need of Spirituality in Present Cinerio”. Dr. Arvind H. Agarwal, the President of the club welcomed and honored Sri Swamiji. Dinner was served after the session to all. Spiritual Tours & Satsang programs of Sri Swami Adhtamanandaji during the month of November 2009 Haridwar – Sri Sri Maa Anandamayi Sangh celebrated its 60th Samyam Saptah from Oct 26, 2009 to – Nov 3, 2009. Sri Surinder Vasudevaji and family organized all the programs. Karnal (Nov 6, 2009 – Nov 7, 2009) – Sri Karan Yoga Association organized Sri Swamiji Maharaj’s short visit to Karnal. Grand satsangs were organized at beautiful park of Chetak Cook wear, Hindustan Pumps and at Sri Satish Goelji’s residence. Tree plantation was done at different areas of Karnal. Swamiji’s honored requests of a few devotees and visited their homes and blessed them. On Nov 8, 2009 Swamiji departed for Ambla. Ambala – The Divine Life Society branch Ambala celebrated its service of ten years of Homeopathic Charitable Clinics in many different areas of Ambala. Sri Swamiji Maharaj visited all the clinics. Also inaugurated Eron Computer Academy at Ambala. After home satsang at Om Prem Bhavan, Swamiji departed for Ludhiana. Ludhiana – (Nov 8, 2009 – Nov 10, 2009). At famous Sri Durga Mata Mandir of Jagrao Bridge, Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj’s evening satsang ( 7.00 pm – 9.00 pm) was organized. Swamiji enlightened the devotees on Navadha Bhakti and Aranya Kand of Sri Ramcharit Manas of Saint Tulsidasji Maharaj. C Ltd, Noida on Nov 11, 2009. In the afternoon, Sri Swamiji was invited to visit Justice Sri R.N. Mittalji’s bunglow at Safdarjung, New Delhi. In the evening satsang was held at Smt. To commemorate His birthday, November 25th is observed as International Meatless Day and Animal Rights Day. This campaign, started in the year 1986, has been steadily gathering momentum. Last year over 10 million people, from all over the world, sent their individual pledges, undertaking to abstain from all food of violence on November 25. Sadhu Vaswani Mission, Ahmedabad Center, organized a Run to stop all killing, “Meatless Day and Animal Rights Day”. With a great enthusiasm about 3000 people Young & Old, Men & Women joined in this event. Sri Aastik Samaj, Ahmedabad organized two days celebration of Lord Aayapa at Sri Sri Sri AshtaLakshmi Bhavan on Dec 5th and Dec 6th, which included South Indian Devotional Music and Flower Archana offered with great devotion by devotees. Mahaprasad was served to more than fifteen hundred devotees at ashram. On auspicious Vasant Panchami, Sri Lakshmi Homam was performed at the ashram and large number of devotees participated. People come from far and wide to Sri Sri Sri Maa Ashta Lakshmi Mandir at the ashram to receive Blessings of the Maa Ashtalaxmi. Ashram was blessed by a visit of His Holiness Sri Swami Hanshanandaji (DandiSwami) Maharaj, who is 107 years. Three day divine satsang was arranged and attended by a number of devotees at Sri Swami Chidananda Dhyana Yoga Mandir. Devotees at the ashram were once again happy to receive Maha Mandleshwar Srimat Swami Satyamitrananda Giriji Maharaj’s darshan and stasang in the month of January 2010. 61st Republic day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the ashram. More than hundred people and school children joined Flag Hosting ceremony, done by Ashram’s Secretary Shri Rajivbhai Shah. 6th Brahmotsava of Sri Dukhbhanjan Hanumanji Mandir was celebrated in great devotion at Ashram, in which eight couples performed Sri Maruti Yajna. In the evening Sri Ajaybhai Yagnikji’s recited Sri Sundarkand Parayan with devotees. On Jan 31st Shri Ashvinbhai Pathak’s Sundarkand Parayan also took place and attended by devotees. The Executive Samitee meetings were held on 2nd and 5th Sundays of the month. On 2nd Sunday Sri Swamiji Maharaj headed the meeting before departing to his spiritual tour to South Africa. After the meeting satsang was held and more than three hundred devotees joined the satsang and prasad was served to all. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji ‘s Spiritual Tour to South Africa Haridwar: From Jan 1st to 9th Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj stayed at Shri Ram Kutir for personal Sadhana. On Jan 8th upon a very sincere request of Rev Sri Swami Satyamitranandaji Maharaj, Swamiji attended Khumbha Mela opening program which was presided by H. E. Sri Ramesh Pokhariyal, Chief Minister of Uttrakhand. Heads of number of spiritual and social organizations graced the occasion, where woolen blankets, sweets and cash money were distributed to the sanitation staff of Khumbh Mela. Hundreds of the families where given warmth by this wonderful gesture when Mercury was going down to 2 or 3 Celsius. Sri Swamiji left for Ahmedabad on Jan 9th afternoon. Delhi : On Jan 12, 2010 Sri Swamiji Maharaj arrived at Delhi on early dawn hours. During his stay here, satsang were organized for the defense personnel, for the staff of Air India, staff of employment exchange Govt. of India and he addressed the corporate of Hero Honda family. On early morning of Jan 16, 2010 Sri Swamiji flew to Johannesburg for his month long South African tour. Johannesburg : On Jan 16, 2010 Shri Swami Adhayatmannandaji departed from Delhi and arrived to at O. R. Tambo International Airport Johannesburg . Swamiji was received by a great number of devotees and officials of Shri Rameshwarmahadev Mandir. South Africa Patel community, attorney General of Republic of South Africa welcomed him with flowers and garlands. After prayers for peace and prosperity of the world at large Sri Swamiji left for Lenasia. On Jan 17, 2010 mid day a grand welcome lunch was organised in honour of Sri Swamiji which was attended by very prominent citizens and corporate of number of business organizations like Sahara groups etc. Media coverage by “Rising sun” appeared on Thursday Jan 21, 2010 . In the evening of Jan 17th Sri Swamiji paid his homage to most worshipful and revered Bapuji Mahatma Gandhiji at Gandhi square. This is the memorable place from where Gandhiji started his movement of satyagrah, the fight of non violence, later on which continued in India like a wild fire and forced British Empire to quit India. On Jan 18, 2010 Sri Swamiji visited “Credel of Humanity” 1.4 billion old caves. It is 70 meter down from the sea level and known as a sterk fountain caves this area is known as a krugerdorp. They believe that the commencement of the world started from here 4.2 billions years. They have found the Human fossils of 1.4 billions years old. In the evening a warm public welcome reception was accorded to reverted Swamiji by number of spiritual and social organizations of Johannesburg. Jan 19,2010 evening Swamiji’s live talk was broadcasted by Radio Lenasia followed by Swamiji’s discourse at Shri Vishnu Temple. On Jan 20, 2010 early morning Sri Swamiji with a group of devotees visited famous games park which is existing in hundred square miles forest and protected under national forest. They all had guided and protected Safari tour, everyone enjoyed wild life of Elephants, Lions, Tiger, Ziraaf, Zebra, Wild Bore and of course large family of Baboons Birds and blue bucks. On his way back Swamiji visited a famous golden Era Group packaging company at Magwasie. They are 45 hundred inmates of the concern work for 329 different concerns and producing 350 tons packing printed boxes in 07 colors. Sri Swamiji addressed them on the subject of problems of production management and solution through self management. Thanks to Shri Mahendrabhai Naran & Smt. A Jnana Yajana was organized on the auspicious occasion of 10th anniversary day of Sri Sri Sri Ashtalaxmi Bhavan & Sri Chidananda Dhyana Mandir. One after another holy satsang kept on refreshing devotees with cool & peaceful breeze of Divine even in hot scorching days of April. It culminated on May 3, 2010 with Pujya Swami Adhyatmanandaji’s Praktya Utsav (Birthday celebration). Devotees were overjoyed to receive satsang and blessings of so many Mahatmas during these nine days. Highlighting the events during nine days….. It commenced with group chanting of Mahamrutyanjaya Chanting for world peace on April 25, 2010 and continued every morning and evening during all nine days. He shared practical tips to live Vedanta in daily life. It was inspiring to hear Him. On April 28, 2010 the play on life and teachings of Sri Adi Shankaracharya was stage at Town Hall, Ahmedabad. It was written by Swamini Vidhya Prakashananda Mataji and directed by Dr. Vikram Panchal. Artists of Tatvatirth acted on the stage. The hall was packed to its highest capacities.
