Publications    Newsletters News Through Event Photos Deepavali Celebrations ( Nov 5, 2018 – Nov 7, 2018): We had joyous Deepavali Celebrations and Annakoot darshan ( Nov 5, 2018 – Nov 7, 2018) at the Ashram. Deepavali is a special time, it brings such joy & festive spirit to all. Here at the Ashram, a grand group Lakshmi Poojan was organized at Sri Ashta Lakshmi Bhawan on the evening of Lakshmi Trayodashi (Dhanteras) on Nov 5, 2018. Sri Sri Sri Ashta Laxmi Bhavan was decorated with lighting, rangoli, pushpamala during Deepavali and group Laxmi (Sri Yantra) Pujan was performed by 108 couples at Sri Sri Ashta Laxmi Bhavan. On Diwali day grand Annkoot was offered to Maa Ashtalakshmi. A few weeks of planning and preparations of about thousand varieties of food items by so many devotees culminated in Grand Annakoot offering to Sri Ashtalaxmi Maa on Deepavali day. Entire day over thousands of people came to the ashram for the Annakoot Darshan and evening aarti. At night about 1600 devotees were serve dinner and about thousand prasad packages of sweets, snacks, chocolates & other goodies were made to be distributed to under served families in slum area of the town, the next morning. On the New Year day (as per Indian calendar) a continuous flow of devotees for the darshan & receiving blessings of Sri Maa Ashta Laxmi from morning till night. On Nov 17, 2018 H. H. Sri Swami Anubhavanandaji Maharaj, head acharya of the institute “Mauj me Raho” visited the ashram and his discourse was organized at Sri Chidananda Dhyan Mandir from 6.30 pm to 7.45pm. He talk about key to be happy all the times. It was well appreciated by the devotees. All the activities of the ashram, mainly Spiritual, Yoga and Seva projects are based on the ideals and teachings of Holy Master Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj.  Daily worship services at Lord Vishvanath Temple and at Sri Sri Maa Ashtalakshmi Bhavan create Divine vibrations at the Ashram. Prayers & Meditation at Sri Chidananda Dhyan Mandir bring peace & joy to countless Sadhakas. Daily Evening Satsang (9.00pm –9.45pm), Sunday satsang (8.30 am -10.00 am) and ‘Paduka Pujan’ on Thursday, Satyanarayan Puja on Purnima day, Gayatri Yajana on first Sunday, Lalita Shashra Nama & Yoga activities: all these have made Sivananda Ashram a pilgrimage place (Yatra Dham) in the midst of noisy and busy city life.  More & more people, inspired by Spiritual head of the ashram,  H. H. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj are involving themselves in selfless services carried out through Ashram’s Seva Projects. Through our  SIVA Yoga Center countless people are learning Yoga  and get benefited. Yoga, Meditation and Pranayam Camps by Swami Adhyatmanandaji’s are favorite of all. Through YTTC ( Yoga Teachers Training Course) over thousands of Yoga teachers have been graduated and teaching others all over the globe. Regular Morning Yoga classes for the beginners (5.30am – 7.00 am), Yoga classes for Established and Advanced students in different batches at 5.30 am, 7.00 am and 10.00 am in the morning get well attended. In the evening Yoga classes are run for women group and a special group from 4:00pm, 6:00pm and 7:00 pm. Thanks to the team of dedicated and selfless yoga teachers of the ashram. As always, wheat & grain distributions to needy families on first Sunday of the month and feeding poor on 3rd of each month through “Vishwanath Seva Kendra” get accomplished.  Thanks to Gurudev for working behind the scene for running smoothly all the activities at the Ashram.  Adhyatma Tour 2018 of H. H. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj to USA Canada & UK (Sept 15, 2018 – December 1, 2018) Pujya Swamiji’s holy presence and Divine satsang have brought peace & joy to the countless spiritual aspirants & yoga enthusiasts in the West. His prayers have brought solace & healing touch to the sick ones. He received warm welcome everywhere he went. Pujya Swamiji’s day typically started early with morning yoga session, home satsangs, home visits, bhiksha to honor devotees’ wishes, evening satsangs, special requests, press interviews, paying a visit to sick ones, prayer for depressed ones and more till the late at night most of the days. His Mission is service to humanity, service to known and unknown. HE has been continuously spreading the message of sages of the yore and sharing the spiritual wisdom and cultural &  scientific heritage of India through Yoga, Pranayama, and Meditation. Highlights of the Tour are Ganesh Chaturthi celebration at Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago, Yoga Retreat at Happiness Yoga Center, Janmasthami Celebrations at Kul Kamala Ashram, Jana yajna at Bharat Sevashram(NJ), “Yoga Refresher Course” at Troy, “Hindu Heritage day” celebrations at Canada, Deepavali Celebration at Milwaukee, Brahmotsavam at Hindu temple of Atlanta  and more……The Tour took (Sept 15, 2018 – Nov 30, 2018 ) him to Chicago, Lorton, kul Kamala Ashram (PA), New Jersey, Houston, Troy Toledo, Toronto and to the last segment to Minnesota, Milwaukee, Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago and to the UK. Sri Swamiji has reached back to the Ashram on Dec 1, 2018. Chicago (Sept 15, 2018 – Sept 20, 2018):  Besides daily Yoga Seminar at Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago, Satsang by Pujya Swamiji were organized at Sri Arbindo Centre, Swadhyay Parivar, Bhartiya Temple of North West Indiana  Universal Sprit Yoga studios and other satang group. Pujya Swamiji left for Washington D. C. on Sept 20, 2018. Madison, WI (Sept 16, 2018): Temple of Madison has been founded by the motivation of Pujya Swamiji. Its disciples honor Pujya Swamiji as their Master. Patotsava of the temple, Sri Balaji Kalyanam and Rathotsavam were organized in the holy presence of Pujya Swamiji. Lorton, VA(Sept 20, 2018 – Sept 25, 2018): A couple, who has successfully graduated as Yoga Teachers from Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad have moved to USA in Lorton, Virginia state near Washington, DC. Five days full program were arranged at their Happiness Yoga Studio. Yoga seminars, Kriyas, Meditation and other Satsang were organized in and around the city from early morning to late evening. Publications    Newsletters News Through Event Photos Guru Bhagwan’s message of “Serve and Love, Give and Purify, Meditate and Realise “, this is the Divine Life, was brought in the spotlight during the Adhyatma Tour 2018 commenced from Sept 1, 2018, to Dec 1, 2018, by Rev. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj. In his Ninety days tour, Swamiji moved to Taiwan, USA, Canada, and UK. On December 1, 2018 Swamiji was welcomed by a large group of devotees at the airport and it turned into a satsang place. After the Satsang, Swamiji went directly to the hospital to visit two hospitals to see ailing patients, who were seeking His prayer and blessings. On Dec 8, 2018 Sri Swami Chidananda Memorial lecture was organized in great enthusiasm. Most worshipful Goswami 1008, Shashtha Peethadhishwar H.D.H. Dwarkeshlalji Maharaj from Kalyan Pushti Haveli graced the occasion and with wholeheartedly poured the nectar from 10th Skandh of Sri Srimad Bhagawat (RAS Panchadhyay) for full two hours. It was a treat for the devotees.  Pujya  Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj welcomed him and briefly introduced the subject. 42 nd Yoga Teachers Training Course ( Dec 5, 2018 – Dec 24, 2018)  through Sivananda Institute of Vedanta-Yoga Academy ( SIVA) at Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad Participants came from Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Bangaluru and Hyderabad. Altogether, 220 hours education was imparted during the course. Yogasana, Pranayam, Meditation, Kriya, Mudra, Bandha, Art of relaxation, Gita, Patanjali Yoga Sutras and basic knowledge of Anatomy, Gynecology, Orthopedic, Science of Dieting, Ayurveda, Sanskrit, Philosophy and Psychology of Yoga and Science of Natural healing Reiki was imparted during the course.  H. H. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj governs the program. Dr. Ashok Nirwan, Dr. Varsha Dave, Dr. Amish Kshatriya, Dr. Bhavdeep Ganatra,, Dr. Mihir Upadhyay, Sanskrit scholar(Ph.D.), Mrs. Chidrupini (Dietician ), Ms. Sangeeta Thawani (Yoga Prachar Ratna ), Mrs. Rupa Majmudar (Reiki Grand Master ), Sri Atul Parikh etc. conducted the course. Written, oral and practical examinations were conducted. Yoga Teachers Training Course was concluded on Dec 24, 2018 at noon. Dr. Arpita Bhagat received the Best student award of the course. Gita Jayanti (Dec 19, 2018): Sri Sanjay Sai Seva Samiti organized a public meeting of worshipful Sri Sanjay Sai Baba at Sivananda Ashram. From 6.00 PM. to 8.15 PM, there was Sri Sunderkand Parayan by Sri Vishnu Shastriji Maharaj. Prior to Mangal Sambhashan of Sri Sanjay Sai Baba, President of Sri Sanjay Sai Seva Samiti Baba gave a detailed report of Seva of Samiti. Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj and other devotees of the ashram welcomed him with great honor. In his short speech, Sri Swamiji said, “ It’s always a joy to receive holy man at holy abode of worshipful Guru Maharaj. H.Q. of Sivananda Ashram, Rishikesh also had privileged to host Sri Satya Sai Babaji, in worthy presence of H. H. Gurudev Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj and once again in the presence of Revered and worshipful Gurudev Sri Sri Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj, In his sharing, Revered Sri Babaji said, “ Revered Swami Adhyatmanandaji and I, though we are meeting for the first time today in this birth, we both know each other from many more births. He brought spotlight upon Seva Dharma, by giving an example of a squirrel who served Lord Rama during construction of Sri Rama Setu. Service is service. It is nothing big or small. Do not wait for an invitation, just serve and serve” . All devotees including Revered Babaji had their Prasad in the ashram and then His Holiness departed around 11.30 pm Sri Datta Jayanti (Dec 22, 2018): On the occasion of Sri Dattatreya Jayanti, Datta Yajana, Poojan, Archana, Aarti and Prasad was organized at Sivananda Ashram’s Sri Datta Temple. Traditional Prasad was served to everyone in front of the temple and underneath the grooms of trees. Srimad Bhagawat katha (Dec 24, 2018 – Dec 30, 2018):  On Dec 24, 2018 holy Sri Bhagawad Katha was commenced at Sri Sri Sri Ashta Lakshmi Bhawan of Sivananda Ashram. Sivananda Parivar at the Ashram were in festive and joyful spirit with a peaceful breeze of Divine as they listened to glories of Srimad Bhagawatam narrated by H.H. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj on Vyasasan. It was daily evening satsang from 3.30 pm to 7.00 pm with devotees attending in large numbers each day more and more to peak & packed hall on Lord Krishna’s Janotsav. It was an indeed a spiritual feast for all. On Dec 26, 2018 Worshipful and Rev. Sri Saheb dada of Sri Anoopam Mission graced the ashram and blessed the audience by sharing words of wisdom. On Dec 27, 2018, two books on the secret of Happy, Healthy and Cheerful Life by Dr. Veena M. Patel were released through the holy hands of Sri Swamiji Maharaj after Bhagawat Katha. On Dec 29, 2018, Srimad Bhagawad Katha was organized in the forenoon. Holy Srimad Bhagawat Katha was concluded on Dec 30, 2018. Maha Prasad was served to all the devotees. Satsang & Tour of H. H. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj During the Month of December 2018. Pujya Swamiji has entered in His Golden Jubilee year and Devotees at Sivananda Ashram and other centers have started planning a year of celebration in His honor. Vadodara (Dec 2, 2018 to Dec 3, 2018): On Dec 2, 2018 Devotees of Guru Bhagwan at Vadodara organized a “Sneh Milan” to welcome to Pujya Swamiji Maharaj but instead, Sri Swamiji in His speech said, “welcome, Guru Krupa! It is available but, we have to seek it wholeheartedly. Our demand is poor so, supply would be poor. So, seek it, demand it and you shall receive it in abundance! Guru’s Grace is sufficient for getting Knowledge of Brahman”. Visit to Leprosy colony at Sindhrot: After Prasad, Revered Swamiji visited Sindhrot on the occasion of 40 th annual day of Leprosy Colony. Revered Swamiji has been in the service and one of the sincere well-wishers of Leprosy colony inmates. They used to be around 850 inmates of this facility, presently around 400 inmates are residing and getting care in this facility as with good treatment they have improved and got cured, fortunately. More & more people, inspired by the spiritual head of the ashram, Pujya Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj are involving themselves in selfless services carried out through Ashram’s Seva Projects. The New Year 2019 began with satsang and prayers here at the sacred ashram of Gurudev Swami Sivananda. Prayers for the peace and harmony of the world at large. Peace in the East & West, Peace in the North & South. Peace abides amongst the individuals as well as Nations. 804th Yogasan, Pranayam, Meditation Camp: Ashram organized Yogasana camp guided and conducted by H. H. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj from Jan 3, 2019 to Jan 9, 2019. A large number of people attended the camp. On Jan 5, 2019, sacred Sri Navchandi Yajna was performed in the Sivananda Ashram’s Yajna Shala in front of Sri Vishwanath temple. It was sponsored by Dr. Chirag Pandya family. On Jan 6, 2019, Voluntary blood donation drive was organized at Sri Sivananda Ashram and at Paldi location where total 378 donors donated blood. On Jan 12, 2019  “Swashtya” a well known health institute organized its third International Diabetic Conference at Sri Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hall. Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj inaugurated the function and lit the lamp. Number of doctors from all over India and Abroad attended the conference. The next day, a special Yoga session was conducted for all delegates of the International Diabetic Conference under the guidance of Pujya Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj with a group of yoga teachers from Sivananda Ashram taking a lead role. On Jan 15, 2019, His Holiness Sri Swami Satyamitranandaji Maharaj, a past Shankaracharya and founder of Sri Bharatmata Mandir as well as the recipient of “Padma Bhushan” award graced Sivananda Ashram in the evening and blessed the Ashram devotees with his holy satsang. On Jan 26, 2018 (69th Republic Day of India) National flag was hoisted by Sri Swamiji at the Ashram Lawn Garden in the morning. In the forenoon, Patotsav of Sri Dukha Bhanjan Hanuman Temple was celebrated by  Sri Hanumant Maha Yajna at Yajna Shala of theashram. In the evening, a grand annual Sri Sundarkand Parayan was organized at the Ashram. Sri Ajay Yajnikji of Delhi adorned the stage and graced the occasion with his melodious singing and total devotion. On Jan 27, 2019, Shankha Prakshalan Kriya (Total cleansing of Elementary Canal ) was organized at the ashram from early morning which continued up to mid-noon. Yoga teacher Ms. Sangeeta Thawani led the group on process and Mrs. Amala Mataji served at the kitchen. About 64 participants took part from all over Gujarat. On Jan 28, 2019, His Holiness Sri Swami Achyutanandaji Maharaj, International President of holy Sri Sri Ma Anandmayi Sangh, graced the ashram and left  on Jan 29, 2019 to Sri Maa’s ashram at Bhimjipura (Chandod) at the bank of Narmada. Satsang & Tour of H. H. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj during the Month of January 2019 Jan 1, 2019, Sri Ram Katha was organized in favor of  Senior Citizen home for Sri Raghuvanshi family. Pujya Sri Swamiji  Maharaj inspired people with his sincere appeal and a good amount of the fund got collected for this noble cause.  On Jan 3, 2019, Sri holy Bhagawat Katha was inaugurated by Rev. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj at  Lambe Hanuman temple of Sri Nardipur, On Jan 3, 2019, Happy Birthday function was organized for three days for the founder of brail science for Blind People. Revered Sri Swamiji Maharaj inaugurated the festival. People were honored and recognized for they provide selfless services to physically disabled people.  On Jan 4, 2019 For the last nine years, Institute for golden ornaments organizes its annual golden ornaments exhibition at Gujarat University Convention Centre Hall. Revered Sri Swamiji  was invited to inaugurate the function. This gold exhibition was started with 68 participants from Gujarat. This year about 780 participants joined for the exhibition from all over India. On Jan 5, 2019, In holy memory of Late Mahant of Sri Nilkhantha Akhada, the grand congregation was organized at Akhada at Asarwa, Ahmedabad. Function was organized under the patronage of Pujya Sri Swami  Maharaj followed by Maha Prasad to all. Lions Club- Mains organized it annual meet at Ahmedabad Management Association. Revered Sri Swamiji Maharaj gave a key note address and inspired people on the subject  “Dil Se – From the Heart” with his words of wisdom. J. G. School of Performing Arts, Andhra Maha Sabha, South Indian Samajam etc. jointly organized dance ballet “ Sri Goda Devi Kalyanam “. Revered Sri Swamiji Maharaj was the guest of honor and he felicitated groups director as well as a choreographer, Mr. K. S. Satyanarayana and artists who all came from the U.S.A. On Jan 12, 2019, on the occasion of 2 nd Convocation Program of Sri Lakulesh Yoga University at Jakhan (Limbadi), 132 graduates, post graduates and PHD students were felicitated and awarded by Pujya  Sri Swamiji Maharaj. Other than India, there were students from Taiwan, U. K. and U.S.A.  Also. Swamiji had satsang with Sri Rajarshi Muniji Maharaj who is the founder of the University Rojanto, Ramnagar campo & Ambaji, (Jan 14, 2018): A large group of devotees in the holy company of  Pujya Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj visited Rojanto at the Dist. of Khedbrahma, Gujarat. As always traditional Go-puja, worshipping the cows was performed and cows were allowed to feed free in the corn crop field. A grand satsang attended by about 2000 people at Ramnagar Campo followed by ceremonial lunch. In the afternoon, the entire group paid homage to Sri Sri Sri Ambaji Temple of Goddess Durga. On their way back to the ashram, Sri Swamiji Maharj visited newly coming up Gift city and paid homage at Sri Koteshwar Mahadev at Gandhinagar. The group returned back to the ashram around 10.30 pm. Selfless service of humanity prepares the aspirant for the attainment of cosmic consciousness, or the life of oneness or unity with God. Aspirants should direct their whole attention in the beginning towards removal of selfishness by protracted selfless service.” – Swami Sivananda  Project Manav Seva is an extensive program that focuses on holistically helping the needy and indigent population. Project Manav Seva has been carried out by the Bhagwan Shri Vishwanath Mahadev Seva Kendra, Sivanand Ashram, Ahmedabad for the last thirty years and continues to grow by leaps and bounds in the advancement of current programs which address the alleviation of human suffering. The ultimate goal of this program is to further spiritual growth for both those served and those providing service while simultaneously making a difference in people’s lives. “Manav Seva,  Madhav Seva” has been the guiding principle for whoever has been associated and working at the ashram. The Holy Master Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj used to take the great pleasure in serving one and all and the tradition continues. is an extensive program that focuses on holistically helping the needy and indigent population. “Project READ” (Rural Educational Aid Distribution): Sivananda Ashram, Ahemdavad has taken up the Project READ for underprivileged & needy children of Rural area of Gujarat. It is an extensive program running for the past many years that focuses on providing educational aid to the under served Children in the form of distributing Slates, Black boards, chalk, Chalk Eraser pads to junior grade students (of 1st through 4th grade) and notebooks of 150 & 200 pages to higher grade students (of 5th through 12th grade). This year about 1, 25, 000 notebooks have been planned to be distributed free through various centers of Divya Jivan Sanskrutik Sang of Gujarat. Many thanks to the selfless workers at various centers who goes to schools and make it possible to reach to the needy children.  Publication of Books through “Sivananda Jnana Yajana Nidhi”. “Sivananda Jnana Yajna Nidhi”  is a special publishing division established by Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad to facilitate spiritual publications. Holy Master Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj has written a wealth of literature for the upliftment of mankind. The Sivananda Jnana Yajna Nidhi has been doing absolutely wonderful job to bring bulk of the literature in local Gujarati language. We are pleased that it was started with approval of Guru Maharaj Sri Swami Chidannadaji Maharaj and it has received His Blessings. “Divya Jivan” is a Spiritual monthly journal in Gujarati language from the Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad, that has been published regularly over the past fifty years and running. Apart from bringing out various articles of great spiritual imports from various saints of the present and past regardless of their affiliations to organizations, it has also served well to communicate with devotees all over. We request all the Gujarati speaking spiritual aspirants to subscribe to this magazine.   The continuation of such comprehensive programs has been possible only because of the unstinted devotion and generous donation provided by selfless devotees of the Lord like yourselves. Global Brahmin Parishad (Feb 4, 2019): The Chief of Global Brahmin Parishad, Mr Umesh Shukla and Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s office bearers from New Jersey (USA) graced the ashram during the month of February. A special meeting of Ahmedabad Brahmin Co-Coordinators was arranged at the ashram. All these special guests were invited at Sri Bhadrakali Temple of Bhadra, Ahmedabad. Bhimpura, Vadodara and Nadiad (Feb 5, 2019 – Feb 7, 2019): Sri Swamiji Maharaj graced the Samyam Saptah organized by Sri Sri Sri Maa Anandamayi Sangh at Bhimpura (Chandod) on the holy banks of river Narmada. On his way to Ahmedabad Pujya Sri Swamiji Maharaj accompanied H. H. Sri Swami Achyutanandaji Maharaj, President of Sri Sri Sri Maa Anandamayi Sangh,  visited Baroda and Nadiad. At Nadiad, they graced the famous Sri Santa Ram Mandir’s annual function and after paying their homage to holy Samadhi Shrine of Sri Santa Ram Maharaj they arrived at Sivananda Ashram Ahmedabad.  On Feb 26, 2019 A free acupressure treatment and teaching camp was organized at Sivananda Ashram. About 993 patients were treated and 115 young people were taught and trained to render acupressure treatment during one day seva yajna. Respected Smt. And Sri Navneetbhai Shah and his team of Jai Bhagawan Trust, Mumbai conducted the entire  program. Rev. Sri Swami Adhyatnandaji Maharaj lit the camp and spoke, ”when you are touching the patients, feel you are touching the Cosmos. Feel that the divinity within you is being passed through your touch to the sick person and heal him.May your touch be healing touch. God bless you all.”  Satsang & Tour of H. H. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj During the Month of February 2019 Lucknow (Feb 1, 2019): Pujya Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj received an invitation from King George Medical University of Lucknow. Gandhinagar (Feb 2, 2019): It happened to be a birthday of Lady Governor Smt. Avinash Kohli. A blood donation camp was organized at Governor House, Gandhinagar. 853 volunteers donated their blood. Publications    Newsletters News Through Event Photos Shivaratri Festival at the Ashram ( March 4, 2019): Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad celebrated Holy Shivratri festival with great enthusiasm and devotion. Vedik Hymns and chants of “OM Namah Shivaya” filled the air with Divine vibrations. Holy Shri Vishwanath Temple was agog with worship of Lord Shiva. Pujya Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj offered a first pooja & Abhishek at 3.45 am. It started with Shodshopachar Pujan at 3.45 am and continued until the next day 4.00 am. Continuous flow of devotees came to the Lord Vishvanath Temple to pray and seek the blessings of Lord Shiva – who is considered Ashutosh. The Siva Lingam was worshipped by washing it with milk, curd, honey and rose water as the chants of Vedic Hymns, Namakam, Chamakam, Rudram, Ashtadhyaayi Rudra, Purushasuktam in praise of Lord Shiva. Shiva Lingam was adorned with special Shringar, Bilva leaves. Bilva leaves are believed to be very sacred and considered the best offering to Lord Shiva. There is a strong belief that sincere worship of Lord Shiva on the auspicious day of Shivaratri, absolves person of sins and liberates him from the cycle of birth and death. Devotees in  large numbers sat in front of the temple in grandly decorated Pandal. Bhakti Sangeet (Devotional Songs) in praise of the Lord through out the night by outstanding singers namely Dr.Vasavda with his Hatkesh Swar Gunjan group, Smt. Dr. Monica Shah of Aradhana School and Tabla master Nakul Maharaj, Pandit Sri Nirajchandra Parikh  and Ami Devi brought a special fervor to already charged atmosphere. Next day morning on March 5, 2019 a grand mahaprasad was served to the thousands of devotees at the In the fore-noon Trivedi Mewada Brahman Samaj organized Laghurudra and community group worshiping program out side the Ashram. Pujya Swamiji Maharaj graced and blessed the grand gathering and joined the community group worship. In the evening a special Shringar was adorn to Lord Shiva at Sri Viswanath Mahadev and Bhashma Aarati was performed by Revered Sri Swamiji Maharaj. Devotees in  large numbers sat in front of the temple in grandly decorated Pandal. Vishvanath Temple was crowded with devotees and devotional music was presented through out the night by Dr. Jayant Vasavada’s group of Sri Hatkesh Swar Gunjan Mandal, Dr. Monica Shah of Aradhana Sangeet Academy, Pandit Niraj Parikh & Pandit Vikash Parikh & group. Next day morning on March 5, 2019 a grand mahaprasad was served to the thousands of devotees at the ashram. On March 18, 2019 on Holi day, classical vocal music by Surmani Dr. Monica Shah was organized at ashram. A large number of music lovers attended the program, it was one of the programs of  75th birth anniversary of H. H. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj Holy pilgrimage of Sri Vaishnavo Devi & Amritsar (March 23, 2019 – March 26, 2019): A group of sixty-two devotees with Pujya Swami Adhyatmanadnaji Maharaj from the ashram paid homage to Sri Vaishnavo Devi shrine in Jammu Kashmir range. It was a treat for the devotees.They also paid homage to Holy Sri Durbar Saheb Golden Temple, Jaliwala Baugh, Shitala Mandir and Wagha Border. Yoga at Udhampur (March 29, 2019 -March 31, 2019): Pujya Sri Swamiji and his team of yoga teachers conducted capsule curse at H.Q. of Northern Command Udhampur. Elocution Competition: Annual Elocution Competition for the colleges of Gujarat University was organized.  Fifteen colleges came forward for the competition. L. D. Engineering College was found the best. Dr. Niranjana Vohra & Dr. Prashant Dave were the Judges. H. H. Sri Swami Kamalanandaji Maharaj & H. H. Sri Swami Narayananandaji lit the lamp. Dr. Varsha Dave, a trustee of the ashram gave out award to the winners. Spot painting competition for primary & secondary school children was also organized on this occasion. Master Poojan N. Panchal of Seth C. N. Vidyalaya, Ms. Najiba Fatima Dhukka of Hiramani Primary School, Miss. Riddhi Patel of Sri K. N. Primary School were the winners. In middle school’s group Sri Dishit C. Shah, Miss Yesha N. Shah of the Divine Life School, Miss Forum Doshi of Little Flower Higher Secondary School were the winners. Professor Mr. Jay Pancholi & Mr. Prashant Patel were expert judges for the competition. Credit goes to Professor Chirag Pandya & Smt. Kadambini Pandya of Gujarat University for planning the entire program. All participants were awarded certificates. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj During the Month of March 2019 March 1, 2019, to March 3, 2019 Government of India, Minister of Human Resource Mr. Prakash Jawadekar organized “Hackathone” program for continuous 36 hours in the field of research work done by young scientists and technocrats. About 12 different states of India, 380 candidates joined the program at Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad. In fact 42 cities, among 2 lacks entries and 11,000 research scholars were selected in this Hackathone program. Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi gave inaugural video conference speech. Mr. Prakash Jawdekar gave welcome speech. Minister of education Mr. Bhupendrasingh Chudasama from Government of Gujarat, Vice-Chancellor of Government Technology University and Director Space Research Institute ISRO, Ahmedabad graced the occasion. There were 38 teams were to solve the problem given to them regarding nations number of projects for number of States. Best winner team was awarded Rs. 1,00,000. Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj was invited to grace the opening and closing sessions. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj The Annual Function of Divya Jivan Sanskrutik Sangh & Amrut Mahotsav celebrations at the Ashram commenced from April 19, 2019, and concluded on May 3, 2019. It indeed was a spiritual feast for the devotees. The satsang with Mahatama, Yajana worship, Bhakti Sangeet, Devi Worship at night with Garba, and more…. filled the entire fifteen days of festivity. Chitra Navaratri & Sri Ramnavami Utsav at the Ashram (April 6, 2019 to April 14, 2019) : It is Sadhana time during nine days of Chaitra Navaratri at the Ashram. Group recitation of Sri Ramcharit Manas commenced daily from 4 pm to 7 pm by Devotees lead by Temple priest Sri Kamleshbhai Maharaj at the Ashram. It culminated with Ramnavami Utsav on April 14, 2019, with holy Ram Yajna worship, archna, offering special bhog, Arati and rejoicing the Birth of Lord Sri Rama. More than hundred and fifty devotees participated and feel blessed. Devi Bhagawat Katha (April 19, 2019 to April 27, 2019) : Annual function of Sivananda Ashram commenced with discourses on Sri Devi Bhagavat by Sri Swamij Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj on Vyas Peeth at Sri Sri Sri Ashta Laxmi Bhavan. A great number of devotees attended the daily discourses for nine days on Devi Bhagavata Purana. Nirvana Peethadhishwar Acharya Maha Mandaleshwar Srimat Swami Vishokanandaji Maharaj remained present in Sri Devi Bhagavat Katha and blessed the devotees. Also, Sanyasini Sri Anand Murti Guru Maa visited Sivananda Ashram during Sri Devi Bhagavat Katha and her presence was honored. Her holy presence was appreciated by all. 805 th Yogasana, Pranayam & Meditation camp (April 18, 2019 to April 29, 2019): Early Morning Yogasana, Pranayam and Meditation shibir by Pujya Swamiji  began on April 18, 2019 and was attended by about 750 yoga lovers. In the evening, Sunderkand parayan was organized in the voice of Shri Nandkishorji. Sri Hanumant Yajna and Archana were arranged on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti on April 19, 2019. On April 21, 2019, Garaba, Devi worship in praise of Maa was organized. Bansariben Bhatt’s vocal brought a special favor and enjoyed by all. On April 23. 2019 “Mata Ki Chowki” was organized in the voice of famous bhakti Sangeet singer Sri Ajay Yajnikji from Delhi. A large number of people from Punjab, Uttar Pradesh – Hindi speaking class participated and took benefit of this holy recitation in praise of Maa Ashtalaxmi. On Sunday, April 25, 2019 Voluntary blood donation camp was organized at the ashram. 90 people donated blood. On April 27, 2019 Ladies artists from ” Nartan School of Performing Arts” founded by Srimati Smita Shastri ji, who has received ” Gujarat Ratna Gaurav” presented Nrutyanjali program, that was amazing. On April 28, 2019, Annual Regional Conference of “Gujarat Divya Jivan Sangh” commenced early morning and continued till 8.30 night. The morning session was started with Jay Ganesh Prarthana and then there was a very inspiring lecture by Sri Shyam Sundar Paliwalji, Sarpanch of Piplantri village of Rajasthan. After that, the interspecific lecture by Dr. Nirja Gupta, Principal, Bhavan’s College was welcomed by all. The first session of the conference was concluded with meditation at noon. After lunch, the second session began with the group recitation of “Sri Vishnu Sahasranam.” Sri Arunbhai Oza, an Institute’s senior disciple discussed our Monthly spiritual journal “Divya Jivan” circulation drive to enable it to reach to more and more people. Sri Arunbhai with Vice President Sri Atulbhai Parikh has been working hard towards it and recently have enrolled 750 schools for one year and having 75-lifetime subscribers. Concluding of this session was Pujya Swamiji’s discourse on the subject “Achar Prabhavo Dharmah” enlightened everyone. After that, Dr. Sri Swami Muktanandaji Maharaj, President of Sri Harkesh Ashram, gave a very inspiring speech on the subject  of  “Our duties in the context of current national situation” was well received. The evening session was presided over by Brahmakumari Sri Shivani Didiji. Since morning, more than 1000 devotees were present for the session. The special arrangement of audio facilities was arranged on the first floor of the building for those who could not find the place in Chicananda Hall, the main venue on the second floor of “Chidanandam”. 1650 devotees were served prasad dinner (Bhandara) at the conclusion of the day. On April 29, 2019, Eighteenth Brahmotsava of Sri Sri Sri Ashta Laxmi Bhavan was celebrated. Navchandi Laxmi Homam and then mid-day Prashad (Bhandara) was organized in the morning. A discourse on the subject “Atha Ken Prayuktoayam Papam Charati Purushah” by Revered Sanyasini Pujya Sri Vidyaprakashananda Mataji well received by all. Manipuri, Kathak, Bharat Natyam dances were presented by artists from Ahmedabad, Assam, Manipur, Kolkata, Jaipur, Delhi, and Trivandrum in the International Dance Festival celebrated at Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad. On April 30, 2019, evening satsang high lighted with a thought-provoking discourse on the subject of “Two wings of Adhyatma – Discrimination and Patience”.was delivered by (Vahelal’s) Pujya Swamini Sri Anantananda Mataji. After that, Kathak, Mohini Attam, Kuchipudi, Bharat Natyam, and Odissi dances were presented on the second day of International Dance Festival. This dances were sponsored by Sri J. G. College of Performing Arts, Indian Council for Cultural Relations and Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad. Sri John G. Varghese, Director of J. G. Performing Arts and President of Y. M. C. A., Ahmedabad remained present on both days. On May 1, 2019 Pujya Swamiji was honored with “Gujarat Ratna Gaurav” award jointly by Gujarat Public Affairs Council of Canada (GPCA ) and Gujarat Samaj (USA) on the occasion of “Gujarat Day” in the evening at 5.30 pm in the auditorium of Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA). Pujya Sri Swami Asanganandaji Maharaj, President of Jnan Vihar Ashram, Heranj, delivered enlightening discourse on the subject of “Inner travel” from 6 pm to 7 pm in the evening. Publications    Newsletters News Through Event Photos June 1, 2016 marks holy Sannyas day of Most worshipful and Revered Guru Bhagawan Srimat Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj. It was Srimat Swami Vishwanandaji Maharaj from Varanasi gave Sannyas Diksha and Virja Homam was performed by Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Srimat Swami Vishnudevanandaji Maharaj of Kailash Ashram. At the ashram special satsang was organized. A large number of Devotees participated in satsang, kirtan, and Paduka Pujan. 43rd YTTC (May 5, 2019, to May 30, 2019): 43rd Yoga Teachers Training Program was conducted at Sivananda Institute of Vedant Yoga Academy, Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad. Other than Gujarat, students came from different parts of India as well as the U.S.A. enrolled for this Yoga teachers Training Residential course for 20 days of 220 hours of education was imparted which includes yogasan, pranayama, meditation, relaxation technique, shankha prakshalan, Kriyas, mudras and Bandha. Other than practical yoga teaching, Bhagavad Gita, selected Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Reiki Science of natural healing part I & II, basic knowledge of Anatomy, Philosophy, Gynecology, Orthopedic, Ayurveda, diet, Yoga Psychology and Philosophy, management and Sanskrit was imparted by very experts of these subjects.Ms. Priya Sheth stood first amongst all. The examination wasconducted and certificates recognized by Gujarat University were awarded to the students at the conclusion of YTTC. Silver Jubilee (25 th Anniversary) celebration of Sri Vishwanath Mahadev Temple( May 20, 2019): Sivananda Ashram celebrated 25th Patotsav of ashram’s Vishwanath Mahadev TempleLord Shiva’s temple. The Vishwanath Temple consecration was performed by Revered and worshipful Gurumaharaj Sri Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj on May 20, 1994.  Early morning traditional Shodashopachar was offered to Lord Vishvanath by priest & Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj. Large numbers of devotees joined in sacred Homatak Laghurudra Havan with Vedic hymns chanting in the forenoon. It concluded with offering and final oblation to Yajna Narayan, Maha-Arti by Sri Swamiji and Bhandara served to all the devotees. Renowned Kathak choreographer Padma Bhushan Smt. Kumudiniben Lakhia’s 90th Happy Birthday was celebrated at ashram’s ‘ CHIDANANDAM ‘Artists from all four corners of Gujarat flocked to attend this memorable event. Her disciples presented spectacular Kathak dance performance. H. E. Governor of Gujarat Sri Om Prakash Kohliji graced the occasion. The entire program was organized by J. G. Jamnagar and Dwarka (May 5, 2019): After the conclusion of the annual function of Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad, Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj arrived at Lakhabawal (near Jamnagar ). Sri Swamiji was invited to grace and bless the inauguration of Yoga, Nature Cure and Ayurved Hospital. At the function, Sri Swamiji spoke in length about the quality of health through Naturopathy and regular practice of yoga. Publications    Newsletters News Through Event Photos Chariot Festival (Ratha Yatra) of the Lord Jaggannatha at theAshram (July 2, 2019): As always, we had a graceful Ratha Yatra at the Ashram. The Idols of Lord Sri Jagannatha, brother Balaramji & sister Subhadraji were adorned splendidly after ceremoniously worshipped by the temple priest. Then the idols were mounted on the silver thrown in a decorated chariot and brought out for the procession. It was a joyous occasion for all. Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji took a lead to pull the chariot and Harinam chanting Devotees were singing and dancing in the praise of the Lord. Devotees present on the occasion experienced the Divine Presence of the Lord. More than six hundred devotees had grand Prashad Dudhpak & Malpuva and more. It was a feast enjoyed by all. Pujya Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji was invited by DD Girnar television channel for the running commentary for holy Chariot Festival of Sri Jagannath Temple of Ahmedabad. Home Minister of Indian Govterment Sri Amit Shah, Chief Minister Sri Rupaniji and many more ministers and dignitaries, attended morning worship service of the temple started at 4.00 am and there after. Thousands of devotees flocked from early morning at 2.30 am onwards. Ratha Yatra of Lord Sri Jaggannath completed 14 km route of Ahmedabad city. Pujya Swamiji commented from 3.50 am to 7.50 am and in the late evening from 8.30 pm to 10.00 pm. Gurupurnima Sadhana Saptah (July 16, 2019 – July 24, 2019): It indeed was a spiritual feast for the Devotees at the Ashram to celebrate GuruPurnima in the satsang with Mahatmas. Nine days of Sadhana Saptah commenced on Gurupurnima day (July 16, 2019) with a grand Paduka Pujan of Holy Master Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj & GuruMaharaj Sri Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj…….. Each day began with prayers at 6 am and morning satsang included group chanting of Vishun Sahshranama, Bhagawad Gita and spiritual sharing. In the afternoon, chanting of Durga Saptasati and evening satsang included spiritual discourses & sharing the thoughts on glories of Guru by different speakers namely H. H. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj, Sri Bhagyesh Jha, Dr. Amish Kshtriya, Sri Swami Brahmnisthanandjimaharaj from Divya Jivan Sangh (Jagganathpuri), Swamini Vidya Prakashananda Mataji, H. H. Sri Swami Asangananadaji Maharaj, H. H. Sri Swami Nikhileshwaranandaji Maharaj, H. H. Sri Swami Parmatmanandaji Maharaj…..Culmination was on 56th Aradhana day (July 24, 2019), Mahasamadhi day of worshipful Gurubhagawan Sri Swami SivanandaJi Maharaj. A large number of devotees participated in a grand Paduka Pujya & Guru worship which was followed by Bhajan and discourse by Pujya Sri Swami Brahmanishthanandaji Maharaj (Puri) and Smt. Rupa Majmudar, an ardent devotee of Gurudev. Narayan Seva (poor feeding) and serving Maha prasad to all during mid-day. Yoga Through (SIVA) Sivananda institutes of Yoga-Vedanta Academy: At the Ashram regular Yoga classes in seven batches for beginners and advanced yoga students carried out this month, as usual. Many devotees participated in regular religious worships at the Ashram namely Guru Paduka Pooja on Thursday, a special evening worship at Sri Ashtalaksmi Bhavan on Friday, Sri Sunderkand Path on Saturday, a special Satsang on Sunday and daily night satsangs. Also Sri Lalita Sahasranam at Sri Ashtalakshmi Bhavan and Sri Satyanarayan pooja on full Moon day were performed. Satsang & Tour of H. H. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj during the Month of July 2019 Ahmedabad (July 1,2019): Founder President of Gita Mandir Brahmleen Pujya Sri Swami Vidyanandaji  Maharaj’s Mahasamadhi day was celebrated with great devotion and reverence. Pujya Sri Swamiji Maharaj presided over a grand gathering of saints and sages. Satsang was followed by mahaprasad served to all. Ahmedabad (July 3, 2019): Sanskrit Literature Forum of Gujarat organized a grand gathering of santskrit scholars, professors, students and others. The chancellors from five universities, Governor of Gujarat and Revered Swamiji Maharaj were special guests. Sanskrit scholars were recognized and awarded by H. E. Governor of Gujarat. Sanskrit is a language of ancient India with a 3,500-year history. It is the primary liturgical language of Hinduism and the predominant language of most works of Hindu philosophy as well as some of the principal texts of Buddhism and Jainism. Haridwar (July 7, 2019 – July 10, 2019): The Spiritual leader, His Holiness Sri Swami Satyamitranandaji, a founder of Sri Bharat Mata Temple at Haridwar attained Mahasamadhi on June 24, 2019. His holiness rendered invaluable services and established Samanvaya Seva Foundation to serve poor people from tribal and hilly areas by providing free education and medical facilities. He lived for the nation, downtrodden poor and sick. A prayer meeting for sixteen days were organized by Bharat Mata Temple. It was attended by grand gathering of saints, sages, religious head of all religions, Governors of different states and many more. Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj gave heart touching tribute to His Holiness. Also prayer meetings were organized at KADI and at Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad which was attended by a number of sages, ministers from Government of Gujarat and devotees. During the visit of Haridwar, Pujya Swamiji paid homage and adorations to holy Samadhi Shrine of Holy Master Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj, Ganga and Guruniwas at Sivananda Ashram, Rishikesh. Mehsana (July 12, 2019 – July 18, 2019): For installation of a new incoming team of Rotary Mehsana and Lion Club, Ahmedabad, Pujya Sri Swamiji Maharaj was invited. At Rotary, Swamiji gave inspiring speech to connect Rotary with the world and at Lions Club for which Lions stands for the last 102 years. On July 14, 2019 Swetambar Murty Poojak Jain Sangh of Jodhpur village at Ahmedabad invited Puyha Sri Swamiji Maharaj for its Chaturmas inaugural function at Jain Upashraya. Sri Swamiji shared the words of wisdom. A large number of Jain Sadhus and Sadhviji’s and devotees attended the program. Gandhinagar (July 15, 2019): H. E. Publications    Newsletters News Through Event Photos Mahabharat Katha during Holy Shravan Month Celebration (Aug 1, 2019 – Aug 29, 2019) –  Holy Shravana month was celebrated in great enthusiasm and devotion in the worship of Lord Shiva at Sri Vishvanath Mahadev temple here at the Ashram. During this month Rudrabhishek and special Pooja were performed. Devotees participated in Savalkshya Bilva patras Archna, Abhishekatmak Laghurudras performed at Holy Shrine on each Monday during the Shravan month. On first day of Shravan, Pujya Swami Adhyatmanandji Maharaj enlightened devotees on the subject of Shiv Pujan & worship of the Lord Shiva during holy Shravan. On Aug 2, 2019  Panchamved Mahabharata Katha by famous Manbhatt Shri Dharmiklal Pandya commenced at Sri Ashtalaxmi – Adi Shaktipeeth.  73rd Independence day celebrations (Aug 15, 2019): Independence day was graciously celebrated in Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad. Flag hoisting was done at 6.45 a.m. by Revered Shri Dhamiklal Pandya Ji. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj gave very inspiring speech invoking the nation. Sri Swamiji said, “ There cannot be peace in the society till maliciousness and selfishness are not removed. When each citizen of India feels that he represents INDIA then our nation will sure rise and prosper. Over and above keeping individual cleanliness, we need to clean our mind and let go our ego. Nation first, society second and selfishness never- that should be the spirit each one has to carry in the heart”. Sri Swamiji and a group of devotees from ashram participated in the Independence Day program at Governor House on the invitation of Governor Sri Acharya Devvratji. On Aug 16, 2019, A grand dance performance “Prabuddh Bharat” was organized by Nritya Bharti at Sivananda Ashram. Senior B. J. P. member Sri Amit Thakar, Sri John Geevargese from YMCA and other senior artists and dignitaries attended the function. This dance performance was presented and directed by Sri Chandan Thakor and Smt. Nirali Thakor. On Aug 18, 2019 Annual General body meeting of Trustees of Sri Divya Jivan Sanskrutik Sangh and meeting of trustees of Gujarat Divya Jivan Sangh was held at the ashram from 9.30 to 11.30 a.m.  Respected Sri Arunbhai Oza took the initiative to enroll 750 life time members in honor of 75 th birth anniversary of Pujya Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj. Janmashtami Celebration ( Aug 24, 2019): Lord Sri Krishna’s Prakatya Ustav was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Sri Ashta Lakshmi Adi Shakti Peeth. Bhakti Sangeet by Dr. Sri Vasavda ji’s Gunjan hatkesh group, Bharat Natyam by Smt. Binal Himanshuvala followed by Haveli Music by Pandit Sri Vikas Parikhji filled Ashram’s air with Divine vibrations just before Sri Lalaji’s pragtya at midnight followed maha aarati in Sri Ashtalaxmi Bhavan, which was packed with the devotees. All the devotees had Darshan of Sri Lalaji in the decorated cradle. Pujya Swamijii was at Dwarka from Aug 23, 2019 to Aug 25, 2019 honoring an invitation for live commentary of Krishna Janmashtami from Devbhumi Dwarka to be telecasted by Door Darshan Girnar. Sri Swamiji described Krishna Janmotsava in Gujarati, Hindi for Delhi station and Bengali for Kolkata station. 11th Mahasamadhi day of Guru Maharaj Sri Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj (Aug 28, 2019) -Guru Paduka Pujan and special satsang was held and attended by a large number of devotees. On Aug 29, 2019 Mahabharata Katha which was organized during entire Shravan Mas was concluded and Pulpitarian Manbhatt Sri Dharmiklal Pandya was felicitated on the occasion. Aug 30, 2019 Homatmak laghurudra was arranged on the last day of Shravan Amavasya day. Grand Bhandara was also arranged on the conclusion of Havan. As always, Narayan Seva, feeding to underprivileged residing in the slum area of the town was carried out on 3 rd, 8 th  & 24 th this month. A complete meal was served, including Puri, vegetable, pulav, khichdi, sukhadi and milk. At the Ashram clinic, free medical service was offered to the sick and needy patients by honorable Sri Dr. Snehal Aminji on each Wednesday and Friday between 7.30 pm. to 9.00 pm. During the month, Yoga Teaching in six batches for twenty days and  five batches for ten days are running regularly at the Ashram. Reiki teaching on first and last Saturday of each month  directed by Smt. Rupaben Majmudar has been continued for the last twenty years. Adding to these regular services, acupressure treatment is given free of charge on each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday benefiting many patients. Grain distribution was done on the first Sunday of the month to the needy families and that has been going on for 25 + years.. Satsang & Tour of H. H. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj During the Month of August 2019 Ganghinagar (Aug 4, 2019) : A grand gathering of saint meet at Dholeshwar Mahadev. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj presided the function in the newly built Hall by Sri Swami Ramswaroopanandaji Maharaj. It was followed by Maha Prasad served to all. Ahmedabad (Aug 11,2019):  Dr. Mayur Patel, a well-known Diabetologist  and his team celebrated Diabetes Treatment Week at his institution named ‘ Swasthya. It began with  Pujya Swamiji lighting the lamp. Shri Hasmukh Patel(MP) and many doctors attended this function. Dr. Yash Patel presented the activities of the institution by slide show. Ankleswar: There is organization of book readers at Ankleshwar. They organize Book Reader Forum program frequently. In 50 th , 100 th , 150 th and 222 nd lecture of the forum, Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj was invited. Sri Swamiji had a discourse on the subject “Sustainable Living”.
